The Super Bowl 50 halftime show will come with some added funk, as singer Bruno Mars confirmed he'll be joining the performance on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Mars announced on Instagram that he'll be joining Coldplay and Beyonce on stage during the halftime performance in what is now arguably the most star-studded lineup in Super Bowl history.

The "Uptown Funk" singer performed at Super Bowl XLVIII, and with the NFL looking to celebrate its history, it was presumably an easy choice to bring back one of its most successful acts of recent years.
