Thomas Davis (forearm) took part in practice Monday

Davis (forearm) took part in practice Monday, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.

Analysis:

Just one week removed from surgery to repair a broken right forearm, Davis participated in drills, though the Panthers aren't required to file an injury report until Wednesday, leaving his activity level up in the air. Although he appears poised to suit up for Super Bowl 50, he's kicked off the week of prep with a cast on the forearm, according to David Newton of ESPN.com, which is keeping a plate and 11 or 12 screws in place.
