Analysis:

The 2015 first-rounder is replacing Tom Brady, but nevertheless holds an important distinction in franchise history. Winston arguably earned the honor by becoming only the third rookie quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 4,000 yards in his first season, joining a distinguished list that includes Cam Newton and Andrew Luck. Winston's 4,042 yards also set a franchise rookie record for quarterbacks, as did his 28 combined touchdowns.
