Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson has been added to the NFL's Pro Bowl roster, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher.

Johnson will make his fourth career appearance in the NFL's annual all-star game, taking the place of Super Bowl-bound Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly.

The 33-year-old was a key contributor to Kansas City's seventh-ranked defense throughout the 2015 campaign, recording 116 tackles, four sacks, and two interceptions across 16 regular-season starts.

Johnson will be one of six Chiefs players making the trip to Hawaii, joining linebackers Justin Houston and Tamba Hali, safety Eric Berry, cornerback Marcus Peters, and tight end Travis Kelce.
