Lou Anarumo to remain with Miami Dolphins as DBs coach

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) Lou Anarumo, who was the Miami Dolphins' defensive coordinator for the final 12 games in 2015, will return to his former job as defensive backs coach.

The team on Monday also announced a dozen other members of new coach Adam Gase's staff, many of them holdovers from the regime of Joe Philbin, who was fired in October midway through his fourth season.

Darren Rizzi will be assistant head coach and will continue to coach special teams. Marwan Maalouf will continue as assistant special teams coach.

Also returning will be Terrell Williams as defensive line coach, Ben Johnson as assistant wide receivers coach and Charlie Bullen as assistant linebackers coach. Other holdovers are Ken O'Keefe, who will become senior football research analyst, and Blue Adams, who becomes football research analyst.

Dave Puloka was promoted to head strength and conditioning coach. Jim Arthur and Ted Rath were hired as assistant strength and conditioning coaches.

Chris Kuper will handle offensive quality control, and Rusty McKinney will handle defensive quality control.

''I am excited about this group of talented and experienced coaches,'' Gase said in a statement. ''I have high regard for their collective experience, knowledge and passion for the game. We will tirelessly work together to build schemes around our players' strengths.''
