Regardless of his disappointing performance in Sunday's NFC Championship Game, the Arizona Cardinals aren't about to lose faith their starting quarterback.

Asked about Carson Palmer in an appearance on Arizona Sports 98.7 on Monday, general manager Steve Keim expressed confidence that the unfortunate result won't affect him heading into next season.

"There is nobody I respect and appreciate more than Carson Palmer," Keim said, according to the team's official website. "In a league full of teams who are looking for a quarterback, I'm certainly proud he’s our guy."

"I feel strongly he will bounce back and be ready in 2016," he added.

The 36-year-old established himself as a top MVP candidate after putting together his most productive season to date, but was one of many Cardinals players who struggled to make an impact in the team's 49-15 loss to Carolina.

Palmer completed just 23-of-40 passes on the day, throwing for 235 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions.

The loss drops him to an underwhelming 1-3 mark in his four career postseason games.
