The Tennessee Titans hired a familiar name Friday, bringing Hall of Famer Russ Grimm back to the NFL as an offensive line coach, a source told Alex Marvez of FOX Sports.

Grimm has been out of coaching since 2012 after spending 20 years coaching for the Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Arizona Cardinals. He spent most of that time coaching offensive lines.

He was one of three finalists to replace Bill Cowher as head coach of the Steelers in 2007, but the position eventually went to Mike Tomlin.

Grimm, 56, spent his entire playing career with the Redskins, winning four Super Bowls over that time.
