The Tennessee Titans announced Wednesday that Dick LeBeau will take over as defensive coordinator heading into the 2016 season.

LeBeau carried a significant role on the Titans' staff last season, working alongside defensive coordinator Ray Horton as the team's assistant head coach/defense.

Following Horton's departure, taking the same coordinator job with the Cleveland Browns, however, LeBeau steps into a lead role on the defensive side while maintaining the assistant head coach title.

The 78-year-old spent 11 years as the Pittsburgh Steelers' defensive coordinator prior to joining the Titans, overseeing a defense that was consistently among the league's most dominant.

Tennessee also confirmed the additions of Terry Robiskie as offensive coordinator and Bobby April as special teams coordinator to head coach Mike Mularkey's staff.
