Houston Texans fans ran out of patience with Brian Hoyer, as the quarterback submitted one of the worst performances in modern NFL playoff history during a 30-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hoyer finished the game 15-of-34 for 136 yards and four interceptions and was booed mercilessly by an anguished home crowd.

Hoyer also lost a fumble despite going unscathed by any Chiefs defender, ending an ominous first quarter.

The Texans were gifted a prime opportunity to get on the scoreboard during the first half, but Hoyer tossed a terrible interception into the hands of Chiefs linebacker Josh Mauga.

It would go from bad to worse as Hoyer ended the first half by throwing an awful deep ball that was intercepted by Chiefs Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters.

With Hoyer under center, the Texans reached nearly unmatched levels of ineptitude Saturday.
