Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson returned during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers after exiting in the third with a lower back injury.

The league's rushing champion was taken to the locker room after having extensive stretching done on the trainer's table.

Peterson extended his rushing lead over Tampa bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin with 60 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
