Carson Palmer won't be under center for the Arizona Cardinals during the second half of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Trailing 30-6 at halftime, the Cardinals decided to sit Palmer in favor of Drew Stanton, though they did elect to keep the rest of their starters in the game.

A potential MVP candidate, Palmer struggled prior to his exit, completing 12 of 25 passes for 129 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

In leading the Cardinals to an AFC West title, Palmer had one of his finest seasons as a pro, tossing a career-high 4,671 yards and 35 touchdowns against 11 interceptions.
