Colts' Hasselbeck forced from game vs. Dolphins with shoulder injury

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will not return Sunday against the Miami Dolphins due to a shoulder injury.

Hasselbeck was hurt on a big hit, and quickly signaled for backup Charlie Whitehurst to come into the game. He was then taken to the locker room.

The 40-year-old suffered several injuries in the past few weeks, with rib, neck, and shoulder issues forcing him to the sidelines during games and limiting him in practice.

With the Colts' playoff chances all but done, it could be the last time Hasselbeck suits up in the NFL.
