Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu underwent X-rays to assess an apparent knee injury following the team's 40-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, NBC Sports' Bob Costas announced during the broadcast.

"The Honey Badger" appeared to tweak his knee while notching his fifth interception of the season.

While the extent of the injury is not yet known, Joe Dana of 12 News reports Mathieu was seen walking around the locker room without a limp after the win.

"We'll see what the team doctor says here in a couple of days," teammate Patrick Peterson said, "but he's walking around good."

Directly following the game, quarterback Carson Palmer said he was praying that Mathieu's injury is just a mere "bump on the knee."
