Given an expected absence of "several weeks" following rib and chest injuries sustained in Week 10, Abbrederis has so far missed two games. His return to drills Sunday bodes well for his ability to play Thursday in Detroit, but with practices on the docket Monday and Wednesday, he has more chances to show that a return is near.
