Montgomery won't really be in consideration for a return until he makes an appearance at practice, no matter if the session is a mere jog-through. With practices on the schedule Monday and Wednesday, he'll have two opportunities to prove his health in advance of Thursday's game at Detroit. However, it wouldn't surprise if he logs his sixth consecutive absence.
