Patriots' Collins returns to practice

Stew Milne / USA TODAY Sports

New England Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins was back at practice Friday for the first time since being sidelined with an illness in Week 9.

The team has yet to disclose details on Collins' illness, and it's unclear whether the late-week return to the field will be enough for him to play Sunday against Denver Broncos.

One of the NFL's most dynamic linebacker talents, Collins recorded 51 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles through the first seven games of the season prior to his absence.
