Tony Romo: Will miss remainder of season with fractured clavicle

Romo will miss the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with a hairline fracture to his left clavicle Friday, Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

Romo's clavicle won't actually require surgery, but he'll still need to sit out the rest of the season after sustaining the break during Thursday's loss to the Panthers. Matt Cassel will seemingly take over from here on out as the Cowboys fade out of playoff contention following Romo's second injury to the left clavicle in a matter of months.
