Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) is expected to need "a couple weeks to see how he does".

Lynch is expected to need "a couple weeks to see how he does" and "to see if he can recover" from his abdominal injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Analysis:

While the Seahawks have not provided official word as to Lynch's status following his visit to a specialist, it sounds like they may be content to ride it out for a few weeks and see if Lynch can avoid sports hernia surgery. Schefter reported earlier Tuesday that Lynch will likely miss Week 12. Thomas Rawls is locked in as the primary running back for Seattle while Lynch is out.
