Consistent losing can strain even the most productive of relationships, with longtime teammates Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates appearing to get heated on the sideline in their game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Gates, who appeared frustrated with his quarterback, was seen yelling at Rivers before storming off to the bench.

It isn't clear what ignited the argument, but normally with these types of spats, it's usually over a lack of targets for the receiver.
