Lions' Johnson, Slay active vs. Eagles

Andrew Weber / USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions officially have wide receiver Calvin Johnson and cornerback Darius Slay in the lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Johnson and Slay had been listed as questionable the day prior due to ankle and neck injuries, respectively.

Though neither was thought to be at risk of sitting out, the two standout players' confirmed presence puts Detroit in relatively favorable matchups in the passing game on both sides of the ball.

The Lions enter this year's Thanksgiving Day contest in search of their third consecutive win after stringing together impressive victories against the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders.

Detroit's game day inactives include OT LaAdrian Waddle, WR TJ Jones, DT Gabe Wright, OT Corey Robinson, DT Jermelle Cudjo, S Isaiah Johnson, and TE Tim Wright.
