The Chicago Bears will be without Martellus Bennett for Thursday night's game against the Green Bay Packers, as the tight end was ruled out Wednesday due to a rib issue.

Bennett's absence is a massive loss for a Bears offense already dealing with injuries at a number of key positions across the board.

Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and running back Matt Forte were each deemed questionable as they continue to work their way back from groin and knee injuries, respectively.

Forte is expected to play after participating in another week of limited practice sessions, while Jeffery's status remains somewhat more unclear despite having the same designation.

Linebacker Pernell McPhee and safety Antrel Rolle are also listed as questionable, potentially leaving the defense shorthanded for an already difficult matchup.

Joining Bennett among those who will be held out of the game are wide receiver Eddie Royal and running back Ka'Deem Carey.
