Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Perry has suffered a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder and will miss two-to-four weeks, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
While the loss of Perry is a blow to the Packers' defense, the team will be relieved he didn't suffer a more significant injury that could have threatened his season, as was suspected earlier.
Perry's shoulder sprain will not require surgery.
It's likely Perry will miss the team's Week 6 matchup against the San Diego Chargers.
The linebacker was having a good season prior to the injury, with 11 total tackles and 3.5 sacks.
