Houston Texans running back Arian Foster returned to Thursday's game against the Indianapolis Colts after passing a concussion test.

Foster was on the receiving end of a significant hit from linebacker D'Qwell Jackson during the second quarter, but returned to the game before team physicians had a chance to run him through concussion protocol.

When play stopped, doctors took Foster's helmet away and brought him to the locker room for testing.

After the half, Foster was back on the sidelines with his helmet and immediately got back in the game.

The four-time Pro Bowler finished the day with 19 carries for 41, but did most of his damage in the receiving game, catching a career-high nine passes for 77 yards.

The loss to the Colts was Foster's second game of the season, after he missed the first three games of the year following groin surgery.
