Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith will not play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns due to a back injury, offensive coordinator Marc Trestman confirmed.

Smith suffered the injury last Thursday in an overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. While the team did not confirm the severity of the injury, it was reported Smith broke four bones in his back, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

The veteran receiver caught 29 passes for 373 yards and two touchdowns through the team's first four games.

Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown will likely see increased targets in Smith's absence.
