Bears' Jeffery limited Thursday; Royal, Bushrod out

Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was a limited practice participant Thursday, Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

With another limited showing in his back pocket, Jeffery has yet to show that he's in line to return for the first time since the season opener. The release of Friday's injury report will provide a good indication of his Week 5 availability, but if he plays, he could make a mark immediately against a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has allowed 10 touchdowns to wideouts through four games.

Wide receiver Eddie Royal and left tackle Jermon Bushrod also sat out the practice due to injury.
