Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday, Josh Katzenstein of the Detroit News reports.
Pettigrew (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday, Josh Katzenstein of the Detroit News reports.
Analysis:
Wednesday marks Pettigrew's first practice since sustaining the hamstring injury on Sept. 13, and he could be ready for the Lions' Week 5 matchup against the Cardinals. Fellow tight end Eric Ebron (knee) is also banged up and expected to sit out a couple weeks, which would likely promote Pettigrew to the starting spot for the time being. Tim Wright would also likely see more snaps in Ebron's absence.
