The Philadelphia Eagles practiced without both their starting tackles Tuesday, as Jason Peters and Lane Johnson were both sidelined by injuries suffered in Week 4 against the Washington Redskins.

Peters is suffering from a quad injury that he aggravated versus the Redskins, while an MRI revealed Monday that Johnson has a sprained MCL.

Johnson said Monday that he doesn't expect to miss any time and should be ready for Sunday, but Peters' status is more unclear.

Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said that he doesn't know what to expect from Peters.

"Hopefully, he'll be ready (Sunday),'' said Shurmer.

Peters is one of the premier offensive linemen in the NFL. He and Johnson form an outstanding pair of tackles that the Eagles rely upon to run their demanding system.
