Bills stash Leodis McKelvin on NFI list

The Buffalo Bills moved cornerback Leodis McKelvin to the reserve/non-football injury list Friday as part of the team's efforts to cut the roster down to 53 players.

McKelvin suffered a setback this summer in his return from ankle surgery. He spent most of training camp in a cast.

The earliest McKelvin is eligible to return to practice is after Week 6. At that time, the Bills will have 21 days to decide to add him to the active roster or end his season.
