Report: Cowboys' R.J. Dill suspended 4 games for violation of PED policy

Thomas Campbell / US PRESSWIRE

Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman R.J. Dill has been suspended for the first four games of the 2015 regular season for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Dill joined the Cowboys on a future contract at the conclusion of the 2014 campaign, and was competing for a depth spot throughout training camp and preseason work thus far.

He'll now be considered unlikely to earn such a role on the league's most talented offensive front after being handed a suspension that will keep him on the sidelines for the first month of the season.
