Letroy Guion's 3-game suspension upheld upon appeal

Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion's three-game suspension was upheld upon appeal.

Guion was informed that he was suspended in July, and unsuccessfully appealed the sanction on Monday. The NFL doesn't officially announce suspensions until a player is offered a chance to appeal the punishment.

The 28-year-old was arrested in February after being pulled over at a traffic stop with 357 grams of marijuana, $190,000 in cash, and a handgun.

Guion is coming off the best season of his career, recording 32 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. The Florida State product was inserted into the starting lineup last year after B.J. Raji suffered a season-ending injury during the preseason.
