Carolina Panthers cornerback Chris Houston is calling it a career.
Houston will retire after seven seasons, the team announced Tuesday. The Panthers signed him to a one-year deal in June after he missed all of 2014 with a toe injury.
The 30-year-old is a former second-round pick who spent time with the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions. He totaled 376 tackles and 13 interceptions in his career.
