Saturday's practice session got off to a rough start for the Cleveland Browns, as defensive lineman Billy Winn was carted off the field with a right knee injury.

Head coach Mike Pettine said the team should know more about the severity of the injury later Saturday.

Winn was injured during an inside-run drill. He was examined by an athletic trainer for about five minutes before the cart came out and held his head down as he left the field, according to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

Pettine praised Winn on Thursday, noting that this has been one of his better offseasons.

"Physically, he has put on some weight, but it is good weight," Pettine said. "We're looking for big things, not just from him but the whole (defensive line) room. I think the competition is really going to force that room to work."
