Eagles' Brandon Graham: Tim Tebow will make the team and play a lot

Rich Barnes-US PRESSWIRE

Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Brandon Graham thinks Tim Tebow will prove to be much more than a camp arm.

While the former Florida standout may face an uphill battle in making the final roster, as he last appeared in an NFL game in 2012, Graham believes Tebow will have a much more significant role on this year's team than many think.

"Tim Tebow is going to shock a lot of people, because he is going to make the team," Graham told Detroit radio host Lauren Beasley, according to CBS Philly. "And I think he will play a lot."

Tebow's chances of beating out the other quarterbacks already on the roster are slim, though his ability as a runner could make him a fit as the Eagles' primary ball-carrier in specific short-yardage packages.

Either way, Tebow's status as one of the game's most polarizing players will make his training camp and preseason performances worth watching.
