Darrelle Revis: AFC East will be 'the toughest division in the NFL'

Darrelle Revis won a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots last season, but he won't be wearing it around the New York Jets' facility.

"You'll see it New York Jet green when we get it," Revis told reporters Wednesday on the opening day of training camp.

That statement is more cautious optimism than a guarantee, as Revis surely knows the Jets will have their hands full contending with the Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins in the AFC East.

"I feel like this would be the toughest division in the NFL," Revis said. "Just how all the pieces have moved: me being back here, Rex (Ryan) going to Buffalo, you have (Mike) Tannenbaum down in Miami. It's a lot of moving pieces."

Revis declined to discuss his mother not being allowed to attend the Patriots' ring ceremony in June, or whether he believes quarterback Tom Brady, did anything wrong in the "Deflategate" scandal. He's not surprised his former teammate is still in the news, though.

"It's Tom Brady," Revis said, laughing. "What do you expect?"
