Report: Jake Long to visit Broncos

Thomas Campbell-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Veteran offensive tackle Jake Long is taking his free-agent tour to the Mile High City for a visit with the Denver Broncos, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.

Long reportedly met with the New York Giants on Wednesday, and the Atlanta Falcons a day prior.

The Broncos lost Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady to a season-ending torn ACL during OTAs, forcing them to move rookie Ty Sambrailo from right tackle. Long has started all 96 of the games he's appeared in over the past seven seasons at left tackle.

Vacchiano reports that the door remains open for Long to sign with the Giants, but he's in no rush to pick a team and is considering all options.
