Tuesday was an important day for Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still and his five-year-old daughter, Leah.

Early in the day, Devon shared a photo on Instagram of Leah wearing a pink dress while awaiting tests to see if her stage-4 neuroblastoma was still in remission:

Idky but I always get a little nervous on these days. Big day of testing today to see if the cancer is still in remission so she wanted to dress up pretty because if you look good you feel good and if you feel good you get good results..if that theory is right then I have nothing to worry about because she looks beautiful today #ShoutOutToHerStylist #OhThatsMe #LeahStrong

Several hours later, Devon shared a screenshot from an email informing him that tests came back negative for cancer.

"Scans were stable from last time," the email said. "There was no neuroblastoma detected on the scans."

Still then shared a moment between him and his daughter right before he left for training camp.

We both knew this day was coming when we had to say bye but we didn't know it would come this soon. I was only willing to show this part of our goodbye because we both make the ugliest faces when we cry so I couldn't do us like that ???. On a serious note, I'm not leaving her to go out there and play around I'm going to handle business. My daughter has been through hell this past year and now I have the opportunity to make sure she gets the world from here on out. So I'm going to make sure she gets it #iDidntGrindThisHardToFail #LeahStrong #StillStrong #FocusedOnAnotherLevel
