Report: Saints' Browner praises Seattle; says he'd like to return to Seahawks in 2018

Playing in front of a Seattle crowd at former teammate Richard Sherman's celebrity softball game Sunday, Brandon Browner said he would like to return to the Seattle Seahawks when his three-year contract ends.

According to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, Browner made the claim in an on-field interview during the game, pumping up the home fans with his enthusiasm for the Seahawks.

Browner may have alienated New Orleans Saints fans in the process, however, as he's already talking about an exit strategy from a team he hasn't yet played a down for.

The Seahawks gave Browner his first shot in the NFL after he spent four seasons with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders. He likely feels some loyalty to the franchise after being casually discarded following one season with the New England Patriots.

Browner signed a three-year, $15-million deal with the Saints in March, adding himself to a talented New Orleans secondary. But nothing will equal playing opposite the league's best corner in Sherman.
