Packers' Aaron Rodgers wants his 'nice-looking' calf back

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is no longer experiencing pain in the left calf that slowed him down late last season, but there are some lingering aesthetic issues.

"I wish my calf would come back together a little bit," Rodgers said Thursday at organized team activities, via Paul Imig of FOX Sports Wisconsin. "It doesn't look the same. That was kind of my calling card, was having nice-looking calves. But yeah, hopefully at some point that will return fully.

"But I have no restrictions with my body. I'm feeling good. I'm at a decent weight where I want to be. It's just a matter of maintaining that and trying to be as ready as possible when the end of July hits."

Rodgers first injured his calf against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16 and aggravated it a week later against the Detroit Lions. He was able to play through the injury in the Packers' playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys and their NFC Championship game loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

"It hasn't fully, aesthetically come back to where I wish it was," Rodgers said. "It definitely took a couple of months until I could really get into some workouts in the offseason where I could push it to the max."
