New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. compiled one of the most impressive rookie seasons in recent memory, so it only figures that he's having a busy summer.

Beckham Jr. won the Madden 16 cover vote earlier in the month, defeating Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, and Patrick Peterson, and made a number of media appearances over the offseason.

The 22-year-old may be tempting fate, believing that he's immune from the notorious "Madden Curse."

"I don't know what a jinx is," Beckham said to ESPN's Dan Graziano. "It's definitely a blessing to be on the cover. It was a surprise to be in the running after just a year, but it's definitely exciting."

Beckham Jr. is also an ardent basketball fan and is rooting for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the upcoming NBA Finals.

"Just watching him do his thing," Beckham said. "It looks like he's got a different look in his eye. Hopefully he can pull it off. But if there's any other team I'd like to see, I would like to see (Steph) Curry get what he deserves."

Entering his second professional season, Beckham Jr. will play an integral role in the Giants' quest for a championship of their own.
