In search of a new contract as he heads into the fifth and final year of his original rookie deal, Marcell Dareus knows he deserves a substantial long-term commitment.

The Buffalo Bills' star defensive tackle spoke with reporters following practice at OTAs on Wednesday, explaining his rather simple stance on the impending negotiations.

While there's yet to be any indication of talks between the two sides progressing toward a new deal, the Bills should look to settle Dareus's contract situation before training camp gets underway this summer.

The 25-year-old has been quick to emerge as one of the NFL's most productive interior defensive lineman after being selected with the third-overall pick in the 2011 draft. He has been a dominant force against the run and recorded an impressive 28.5 sacks in 63 regular-season games.
