Seahawks' Kam Chancellor: 'We're more focused, more driven'

Coming up just shy of a second consecutive Super Bowl title has the Seattle Seahawks intent on getting back to the top of the football world.

As star safety Kam Chancellor explained following the team's first practice of OTAs on Tuesday, he and his teammates have used the disappointing loss to the New England Patriots as motivation heading into 2015.

"Oh yeah, I told a lot of people, it feels like this offseason everybody worked their hardest," Chancellor said, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

"I've seen guys out here busting their tails, the whole offseason going fast-tempo. Guys are lifting like crazy. It's just like the mindset is just sharpened. It just sharpened even more. We're more focused, more driven. We're just hungry for the first game of the year."

As difficult as it may be to make back-to-back Super Bowls appearances, let alone three consecutive, the Seahawks should once again enter the upcoming season as a favorite.

With quarterback Russell Wilson still playing out a largely inexpensive rookie contract, Seattle has managed to bring back arguably the league's most talented roster without being forced to part with any of its most significant pieces.

Though becoming the first team in the salary-cap era to reach the Super Bowl in three consecutive years would be an incredible accomplishment alone, the Seahawks certainly won't be satisfied unless such an appearance ends in another win.
