Raiders' Derek Carr takes snaps at OTAs, still not throwing

Derek Carr is on the mend.

Though he didn't make any throws Tuesday, Carr took some snaps during individual drills, NFL Network's Steve Wyche reports. He was also not wearing any tape on the undisclosed injury to his right hand/arm.

Christian Ponder took first-team reps.

The Oakland Raiders signal caller is dealing with a minor hand injury that kept him out of team workouts last week. There was some thought that Carr may have to undergo a procedure on the ailment, but his agent refuted those reports.

It appears Carr will be back to full strength sooner rather than later.
