Gipson (knee), who has yet to sign his restricted free agent tender, will not show up for the start of OTAs on Tuesday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Analysis:

Gipson received a second-round tender for $2.356 million, but he wants to sign a long-term contract after picking off 11 passes over his last 27 games. According to Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan, the Browns can cut Gipson's tender to 110 percent of his 2014 salary (or approximately $627,000) if he doesn't sign by June 15. While disappointed not to have a long-term offer from the Browns or any other team, Gipson will likely join his teammates at some point this summer. He won't turn 25 until August, and he'll still be in good shape to cash in big next year if the Browns don't first sign him to an extension.
