The New England Patriots are cornering the market on secondary help.

The team brought in veteran defensive back C.J. Spillman for a workout Wednesday, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.

The Patriots worked out Tarell Brown on Tuesday after cutting Chimdi Chekwa on Monday and releasing Kyle Arrington on May 11.

The Patriots are desperate for help at corner, but Spillman is mostly known for contributing on special teams.
