Hocker was selected by Washington in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL draft, but failed to make the team and he then signed a futures contract with the Miami Dolphins before again being released. Among a handful of kickers at the Saints rookie minicamp last week, Hocker was the only one to receive a contract offer. If he wins the kicking competition in training camp, Hocker, backed by a strong offense, would have value in most fantasy leagues.
