Brown has been absent from the Bills' voluntary workouts, apparently due to a personal issue, the Buffalo News reports. Said running backs coach Anthony Lynn, "Bryce is doing what he has to do right now, taking care of his family in the offseason, but yes, it will set him back. I mean, he's five, six weeks behind everyone else. Once he gets here, it's going to be hard to slow down and catch him up. That's one of my biggest concerns, but, you know, he's got the playbook. Hopefully he's taking care of his business and hopefully he'll come in in great shape and we'll see what happens."

Analysis:

The new coaching staff hasn't sounded exactly thrilled with Brown so far, as coach Rex Ryan has already mentioned Browns' fumbling issues, and that comes on the heals of the Eagles not seeming particularly interested in keeping him following the 2013 season. With the Bills adding Karlos Williams in the draft, and LeSean McCoy, Fred Jackson, and Anthony Dixon already on board, Brown may have some ground to make up to be part of the team's plans.
