Steelers ink 1st-round pick Bud Dupree to 4-year deal

Dennis Wierzbicki / USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers took care of a little business on Thursday.

Pittsburgh came to terms with first-round pick Bud Dupree on a four-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Steelers made Dupree the 22nd overall selection of this year's draft and his pass rushing ability should benefit a defense that desperately needs help in that area. Pittsburgh ranked 26th in sacks last season with only 33 quarterback takedowns.

Dupree had seven sacks in 2014 while at Kentucky and will give the Steelers a new dimension for defensive coordinator Keith Butler to utilize.
