Lions' DeAndre Levy follows up wing-walking with trip to Easter Island

Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy has been keeping busy since his wing-walking adventure in March.

After jetting off to South America, Levy ventured into the desert of northern Chile and then to Easter Island in the middle of the South Pacific. He slid down a volcano, camped in a rainforest and tried llama, which he described to ESPN's Michael Rothstein as "dry and lean and not a lot of flavor, but (Chileans) do it pretty well, actually."

"I wanted to see the statues, the Moai and Ahu," Levy said. "And then the history of the island is ridiculous. It's incredible. To see some of that stuff first hand was something I always wanted to do."

Levy has visited an estimated eight or nine countries over the past few years, but this year's trip was particularly special. He described Chile as the most beautiful place he's been to and his wing-walking as one of the most thrilling things he's ever done.

"People think sitting by a pool is fun," he said. "That's not fun to me."
