Bears sign Pat Devlin, waive Khaseem Greene

Continuing to shuffle their player personnel as the offseason moves forward, the Chicago Bears announced several minor roster moves Monday.

The team has officially waived linebacker Khaseem Greene and released veteran defensive end Austen Lane, while signing quarterback Pat Devlin, linebacker Kyle Woestmann and defensive tackle Terry Williams.

A 2013 fourth-round draft selection, Greene struggled to earn a prominent defensive role over the course of his two seasons in Chicago, appearing in 25 games and making just six starts.

Devlin is the most notable name of those now joining the club, but he'll likely have difficulty competing for a spot on the final roster with so many quarterback already in the mix.
