The Green Bay Packers plan to release defensive end Luther Robinson, according to multiple reports.

Robinson was invited to the Packers' 2014 rookie minicamp after going undrafted out of Miami, and ended up landing a contract with the team. He was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster in October and went on to appear in five games.

The 24-year-old was placed on injured reserve in December with a calf injury, ending his season.
